The Challenge: What to do with a space you don’t know what to do with.

The Solution: Repurpose the room.

After sitting down with the client and discussing the needs of the family, we decided that a formal living room was not needed.  Because the family loves to read, we decided on a library.  We created a focal point by installing art on the back wall and anchoring two chairs to it.  We also added an occasional table between the chairs and purchased a round rug.  Adding a new bookcase with glass enclosures not only showcased the owner’s collection of books, but also family pictures and colorful accessories.
